Refund Policy

This policy applies to membership subscriptions, credit packs, and other digital goods and services (collectively, “Digital Products”) you purchase on Yoyosound (yoyosound.ai).

This policy supplements our Terms of Service. In case of conflict, this policy governs refund matters; other matters are governed by the Terms of Service and purchase page descriptions.


1. Basic Principles

Yoyosound provides online, instantly delivered virtual goods and services (membership benefits, credits, AI generation quotas, etc.). After successful payment, benefits are typically credited to your account immediately or within a short time.

Under the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and related regulations, digital goods may not be eligible for a no-reason return within seven days when statutory conditions apply. On that basis, we set out the following fair and transparent refund rules.


2. General Rules (Overview)

Virtual product nature: Credits and membership benefits are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash (except where required by law).


3. Specific Scenarios

3.1 Non-Refundable Cases

The following generally do not qualify for a refund:

  1. You have actively used credits or membership benefits for music generation, lossless export, commercial license downloads, etc.;
  2. You request a refund for personal reasons (dissatisfaction with output, user error, device incompatibility, etc.) and the Service was delivered normally;
  3. Your account was suspended or restricted for violating the Terms of Service;
  4. Purchase through unofficial channels, proxy top-ups, or fraud (please contact your payment provider or local authorities);
  5. Promotional or discounted purchases marked “non-refundable” on the purchase page (as stated on the page).

3.2 Credit Packs

  • Unused: Within 7 days of successful payment, if no credits from that pack have been deducted, you may request a full refund.
  • Partially used: Only the unused portion is refunded (calculated at the unit purchase price, rounded down to the cent).
  • Expired: Unused balances past the credit validity period (e.g., 365 days as stated on the purchase page) are not refunded or extended unless required by law.

3.3 Membership Subscriptions

3.4 Cases Where Refund Is Required

We will prioritize after verification:

  1. Duplicate payment for the same order;
  2. Successful payment but benefits not credited for more than 24 hours (not due to your network or account issues);
  3. System failure causing incorrect charges;
  4. Other cases where refund is mandatory under applicable law.

Refunds are returned to your original payment method (e.g., Alipay). Settlement time depends on the payment provider, typically 3–15 business days.


4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@yoyosound.ai with subject “Refund Request” and include:

  1. Registered email or user ID;
  2. Order number / Alipay transaction ID (if any);
  3. Purchase date and product name (e.g., “Monthly Pro,” “10,000 Credit Pack”);
  4. Reason for refund and explanation;
  5. Relevant screenshots (payment confirmation, account benefits page, etc.).

We will provide an initial response within 5 business days of receiving your request; complex cases may take up to 15 business days.


5. Subscription Cancellation and Renewal

  • Canceling auto-renewal does not automatically refund the current paid period; it only prevents the next billing cycle.
  • How to cancel: Alipay “Me → Settings → Payment Settings → Auto Debit,” or the in-product “Membership / Billing” page (when available).
  • Current-period benefits remain until the billing cycle ends unless you separately request a refund that qualifies under this policy.

6. Disputes and Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our decision:

  1. You may appeal again with additional materials;
  2. You may initiate a transaction dispute with your payment provider (e.g., Alipay support);
  3. You may contact a consumer association or market supervision authority;
  4. Other remedies available under applicable law.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on the website. Transactions completed before changes are handled under the policy or law in effect at the time of transaction, unless otherwise required by law.

This policy is consistent with in-product notices such as “credits are non-refundable.” If multilingual versions differ, the Simplified Chinese version displayed on the site at the time of purchase prevails. Legal review is recommended before launch based on actual payment contracts and tax requirements.
